Paula Hollinger, an American politician and former Maryland state senator, died on March 25, 2026, at age 85.
A Democrat, she represented Maryland’s 11th district in the state Senate from 1987 to 2007 after serving in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1979 to 1987. She was born in Washington, D.C., on December 30, 1940, and later served as associate director for health workforce in the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, retiring in 2015.
Hollinger was a candidate for Maryland’s third congressional district in 2006 and served in the General Assembly for 28 years.
