Nebojša Radunović, a Serbian university professor of obstetrics and gynecology, died on September 15, 2026, aged 72.
He taught at the University of Belgrade’s School of Medicine and served as chair of the human reproduction department at the Institute for Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Clinical Center of Serbia. Radunović was also a corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Born in Kosovska Mitrovica in 1954, he studied medicine at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine, where he received his M.D. with special distinction in 1978. He later completed a master’s degree in 1982 and a PhD in 1985, and went on to hold academic appointments that included assistant professor, associate professor and full professor.
