Morlocks, the Swedish alternative and industrial rock band formed in Gothenburg in the early 1990s, died on March 2, 2026.
The group was founded by Johann Strauss and Н.М.Д. and released its first demo cassette, They’re Not Human, in 1991.
Morlocks disbanded in 1993, later re-formed in 1997 with a different lineup, and issued the demo Through the Waking World in 1998. That release led to a record deal with Nangijala Records, and the debut album …For Your Pleasure? followed in 2001.
