Chase Pistone American racing driver dead at age 42

Chase Pistone, an American racing driver, died on March 2, 2026, at age 42.

He competed in the NASCAR Xfinity, Truck and ARCA Series and was the grandson of two-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner “Tiger” Tom Pistone. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Pistone began racing at age 6 and won the Summer Shootout Championship Legends four times as a driver between 1999 and 2005.

He also had more than 80 feature event wins in Legends, Late Model and USAR competition and worked as a car builder of Legends Cars and Super Late Models. He died in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Chase Pistone (August 20, 1983 – March 2, 2026) was an American professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Xfinity, Truck, and ARCA Series. He was the grandson of two-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner “Tiger” Tom Pistone. Pistone was also a car builder of Legends Cars and Super Late Models.
