Mohsen Darrebaghi, an Iranian brigadier general and fighter pilot in the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, died on February 28, 2026, during the 2026 Israeli–United States strikes on Iran.
He served in various command roles within the Iranian military, including as deputy for readiness, support, and industrial research at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Darrebaghi participated as a pilot in the Iran–Iraq War and later commanded Chabahar Air Base in the early 2000s.
From 2008 to 2013, he was deputy commander of the Iranian Air Force, and from 2013 to 2016 he served as deputy for readiness and support in the Iranian Army.
