Lidia Erokhina Russian economist dead at age 70

Lidia Erokhina, a Russian economist, died on March 1, 2026.

Born on December 13, 1955, in Penza Oblast, she was a member of the Komsomol. In 1978, she graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Technology with a degree in engineer-economist.

After postgraduate studies and work assigned through the district committee of the Komsomol, she joined the Togliatti branch of the institute, where she served from 1982 as an assistant, teacher, head of department, and vice-rector for academic work.

Lidia Ivanovna Erokhina (Russian: Лидия Ивановна Ерохина; 13 December 1955 – 25 February 2026) was a Russian economist.
