Julian Wojtkowski, a Polish Roman Catholic prelate and theologian, died on February 4, 2026, at age 99.
Born in Poznań on January 31, 1927, he was ordained a priest in 1950 after studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Warmia. He later earned a doctorate in dogmatic theology from the Catholic University of Lublin in 1953.
Wojtkowski served as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Warmia from 1969 until his resignation in 2004 and also held the titular see of Murustaga.
