Born on January 5, 2007, she won the Belgian National Road Race Championships in the rookie category in 2022 and the second-year category in 2023. She also finished eighth in the youth Tour of Flanders in 2022.

After her diagnosis at the end of 2023, she continued studying at the University of Antwerp while undergoing chemotherapy, before announcing in May 2026 that she was ending treatment as the cancer had returned and her body was no longer producing enough red blood cells.
