James Stannage, the British radio talk show host, died on March 30, 2026, aged 76.
Born Charles James M. Stannage in Norton, County Durham, on February 22, 1950, he presented late-night phone-in shows, including The Late Night James Stannage Talk Show on Manchester’s Key 103.
He was dismissed from Key 103 in June 2005 after numerous warnings and a history of run-ins with regulator Ofcom, and later hosted an online radio show. Stannage also worked at Piccadilly Radio in the mid-1970s and had earlier been an amateur actor and secondary school teacher.
