Víctor Cabrera (Chilean footballer) public figure dead at age 68

Víctor Hugo Cabrera Sánchez, a Chilean footballer known as a forward, died on March 30, 2026.

Better known by his nickname Pititore, he was one of the most prolific goalscorers in Chilean football history. Cabrera was part of Chile’s Selección Joven, coached by Luis Santibáñez, as the team prepared for the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

Víctor Hugo Cabrera Sánchez (9 November 1957 – c. 2 April 2026) was a Chilean footballer. A forward, he was one of the most prolific goalscorers in Chilean football history.
