James F.
White, an American funeral director and politician, died on January 15, 2026, in Farmington, Minnesota, at the age of 90. A member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1975 to 1978.
Born in Lakeville, Minnesota, on May 13, 1935, White graduated from Lakeville High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in mortuary science from the University of Minnesota in 1957. He worked in the family funeral business founded by his grandfather.
