
Henric Holmberg, a Swedish actor, died on February 12, 2026.
Born Sven Martin Henric Holmberg in Växjö on January 4, 1946, he had his breakthrough in “Sven Klang’s Combo” in 1976. He began acting in leftist theater groups and later took part in the 1977 Tent Project, a musical theater performance on the history of the Swedish working-class movement, playing the Communist leader Zeth Höglund.
Holmberg also portrayed historical figures including Rutger Macklean in the 1993 Sveriges Television drama “Macklean” and Adolf Hitler in the play “Albert Speer” at Gothenburg City Theatre in 2001, later televised.
