Fernando Esteso, a Spanish actor and singer best known for his film appearances with Andrés Pajares, died on February 1, 2026, in Valencia, Spain, at the age of 80.
Born in Zaragoza on February 16, 1945, he began performing as a clown with his father at age four, moved to Madrid in 1964 to work in stage plays, and made his film debut in 1973. He worked in film and music from 1964 to 2025 and appeared with Pajares in nine comedy films between 1979 and 1983.
Esteso was married to María José Egea, who died in 2003.
