Engin Fırat, a Turkish football manager and player, died on March 9, 2026.
Born on June 11, 1970, he was described as a Turkish footballer and manager. Fırat signed a head coaching contract with Sepahan after reaching an agreement with Ali Daei and the Iran football federation.
He was also among the candidates to become head coach of Nigeria for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, a job he later rejected.
