Diab Al-Louh, a Palestinian diplomat and politician who served as ambassador to Egypt, died on August 9, 2026, aged 67.

Born in Gaza City on December 28, 1958, he was also known as Diab Allouh and Diab Nimer Mohammad Al-Louh. A member of Fatah, Al-Louh represented Palestine as ambassador to China, Yemen, Mauritania and Egypt, and also served as its representative to the League of Arab States.

After his arrest by the Israel Defense Forces in August 1977 and a 15-year prison sentence, he later worked in the Palestinian public administration before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005. He was appointed ambassador to China that year, to Yemen in 2013 and to Mauritania in 2016, then became ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League in November 2017, holding the Egypt post until his death in Cairo.
