David Riondino, the Italian singer-songwriter, actor and writer, died on March 29, 2026, at age 73.
Born in Florence on June 10, 1952, he began his career in the mid-1970s as a member of the musical ensemble Collettivo Victor Jara. He made his solo debut in 1979 with the album “David Riondino” and later appeared as an actor in films including The Night of the Shooting Stars, Cavalli si nasce and Ilona Arrives with the Rain.
Riondino was also active as a comedian, playwright, screenwriter, director and composer.
