Angelo Romano, an Italian politician and former mayor of Avellino, died on March 21, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born in Capriglia Irpina on June 4, 1934, he was a member of the Christian Democrats and later Forza Italia. He served as a city councillor in his hometown and was mayor of Avellino from April 1989 to May 1995.

After the dissolution of the Christian Democrats, he returned to the city council from 1999 to 2003.

Angelo Romano (4 June 1934 – 21 March 2026) was an Italian politician.
