Wilma Tisch, an American philanthropist, died on June 7, 2026, at the age of 98.
Also known as Wilma “Billie” Tisch and born Wilma Stein, she was a graduate of Skidmore College and later served on its board. Tisch was married to Laurence Tisch, and the couple had two sons, James Tisch and Andrew Tisch.
She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and grew up in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
