Dennis Parrett, an American politician who served as a member of the Kentucky Senate from 2011 to 2023, died on June 7, 2026, at age 66.
Born October 30, 1959, and also known as Dennis L. Parrett, he represented Kentucky’s 10th District from January 2011 until January 2023.
During his time in the Senate, he was elected by the Senate Democratic Caucus as minority caucus whip in August 2017. Parrett was identified in records as a University of Kentucky graduate and a former Democratic member of the chamber.
