Vasco Ascolini, an Italian photographer, died on February 10, 2026, in Reggio Emilia, Italy, at the age of 88.
Born in Reggio Emilia on May 10, 1937, he worked as a photographer and, from 1973 to 1990, collaborated with the Teatro Municipale in Reggio Emilia. His series of photographs are held at the Fondazione Italiana per la Fotografia di Torino, the Musée Carnavalet, and the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
He also exhibited at the Rencontres d’Arles, the Nicéphore Niépce Museum, and the Louvre.
