Femke Boersma, the Dutch actress known for her role in Het Wonderlijke leven van Willem Parel, died on February 10, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born in Amsterdam on 11 December 1935, she began her career in the late 1950s and in 1959 had a leading role in the Holland Festival production Troilus and Cressida. From 1958 to 1968, she was associated with the Nederlandse Comedie, where she played Honey in Wie is er bang voor Virginia Woolf, and she later worked with Zuidelijk Toneel Globe from 1968 to 1980.
In 1980, she helped found Theater 80, which became Theater Persona in 1984.
