Tom Lund, the Norwegian footballer and manager associated with Lillestrøm SK and the national team, died on May 23, 2026, aged 75.
A striker, he spent his entire playing career with Lillestrøm, helping the club rise from the third division to the first and win the Norwegian Cup in 1977, 1978 and 1981, as well as the Norwegian top division in 1976 and 1977. He played 348 official matches and scored 197 goals for the club, and won 47 caps for Norway.
Lund retired in 1982 after also receiving offers from major international clubs.
