
Tom Georgeson, the English actor known for Between the Lines, A Fish Called Wanda and Doctor Who, died on March 18, 2026, aged 89.
Born in Liverpool on 8 August 1936, he worked in television and film from 1963 to 2015. His most notable credits included supporting roles in Between the Lines and in three dramas by Alan Bleasdale: Boys from the Blackstuff, Scully and G.B.H.
He also appeared as the lawyer‘s clerk Clamb in the BBC One serial Bleak House.
