Silvino Louro, a Portuguese football player and coach, died on March 18, 2026.

Known simply as Silvino during his playing career, he was a goalkeeper who represented Vitória de Setúbal, Benfica and Portugal. Born in Setúbal, he began his professional career with Vitória de Setúbal in 1977 and later moved to Vitória de Guimarães after five years at the club.

He played in 21 Primeira Liga seasons and made 408 appearances in the competition before ending his career in his 40s. He later worked as a first-team coach under José Mourinho.

Silvino de Almeida Louro (5 March 1959 – 19 March 2026), known simply as Silvino in his playing days, was a Portuguese professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
