Rondale Moore American football player (Arizona Cardinals dead at age 25

Rondale Moore, an American football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League and played for the Arizona Cardinals, died on February 21, 2026.

He was 25. Moore was selected by the Cardinals in the second round, 49th overall, of the 2021 NFL draft and spent three seasons with the team.

He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, where he was named a consensus All-American as a freshman. He also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings, though he did not appear in any regular-season games for either team because of preseason injuries.
