Richard Felciano American composer dead at age 95

Richard Felciano, an American composer, died on February 21, 2026, in San Francisco at the age of 95.

Born in Santa Rosa, California, on December 7, 1930, he studied at San Francisco State College, earning a BA in 1952, and received an MA from Mills College the same year. At Mills, he studied composition with Darius Milhaud, later continuing with Milhaud at the Paris Conservatoire, where he received two diplomas in 1955.

He also studied privately in Florence for a year from 1958 to 1959.

Richard James Felciano (December 7, 1930 – February 21, 2026) was an American composer.
