Richard de Prémare, a French painter who specialised in figurative art, died on February 14, 2026, at the age of 89.
Born Richard Dumouchel de Prémare in Casablanca, in the French protectorate in Morocco, on May 6, 1936, he attended the Académie Charpentier and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. He became well known in figurative art and received praise from André Flament and Élisabeth Amyot.
He died in Aigneville, France.
