Raseswari Panigrahi, an Indian politician, died on February 16, 2026, at the age of 79.

She was active in Odisha politics with the Biju Janata Dal and was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from the Sambalpur constituency in the 2014 election. Born on October 28, 1946, to Narasingha Panigrahi, she worked as a gynaecologist before entering politics after retirement.

Her brother, Sriballav Panigrahi, was also a politician. Panigrahi later lost the 2019 assembly election in Sambalpur to Jaynarayan Mishra of the BJP.

Raseswari Panigrahi (28 October 1946 – 16 February 2026) was an Indian politician from Odisha. She was active with Biju Janata Dal in Odisha politics. She was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Sambalpur constituency in the 2014 Odisha Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Biju Janata Dal.
