Lorenza Trucchi, an Italian journalist, art critic and curator, died on February 4, 2026, at the age of 104.
Born in Monaco on January 11, 1922, she moved with her family to Rome in 1933. Trucchi studied law before turning to art criticism and writing for newspapers and periodicals including Il Momento, Il Gazzettino, Il Corriere Mercantile, Leggere, Il Taccuino delle Arti, Giovedi and Art Dossier.
In 1950, Dino Buzzati invited her to write for Corriere della Sera. She was also known for her association with Alberto Burri and Jean Dubuffet.
