Ronald Teasley Sr. was born on January 26, 1927, and was a native of Detroit, Michigan.

He attended Northwestern High School and Wayne State University, where he played baseball and basketball. Teasley served in the U.S. Navy in 1945 and 1946. He played with the New York Cubans in 1948 after being released by the Olean Oilers, a Brooklyn Dodgers farm club, and later played for the Carman Cardinals of the Mandak League in 1949 and 1950.

Ronald Teasley Sr. (January 26, 1927 – February 3, 2026) was an American professional baseball outfielder.
