Kevin Ashcroft, the English professional rugby league footballer and coach, died on March 2, 2026, aged 81.

He played in the 1960s and 1970s and coached in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. As a hooker, he played at representative level for Great Britain and Lancashire, and at club level for the Rochdale Hornets, Dewsbury, Leigh, Warrington and Salford.

He coached Leigh in two spells and Salford, and was an inductee of the Warrington Hall of Fame.
