John Maclean, Australian cricketer who played for Queensland and the national team, died on May 16, 2026, aged 80.

Born in Herston, Queensland, on April 27, 1946, John Alexander Maclean played four Test matches and two One Day Internationals in 1978 and 1979. He captained Queensland 30 times in 86 games and was part of four Queensland sides that finished second in the Sheffield Shield.
