Jing Yidan, a Chinese television presenter and host, died on September 13, 2026, at age 71.
Born in Harbin in April 1955, she graduated from the Communication University of China in 1979 and began her career the same year. She went on to join China Central Television in 1988, where she hosted Focus Report and Oriental Horizon, and was known for her work in Chinese broadcasting.
Jing won China’s Golden Mike Award in 1993, 1995 and 1997. She also served as vice president of the China Association of Radio and Television and was a delegate to the 9th National People’s Congress.
