Ingo Weiß, a German politician who served in the Landtag of Bavaria from 1970 to 1978, died on June 23, 2026, at the age of 89.
Born on January 24, 1937, in Neuburg an der Donau, he was a member of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria and went on to hold a seat in Bavaria’s state parliament during a period of public service that defined much of his career. Weiss was also recognized with the Bavarian Order of Merit and the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
