Grace Perreiah, an American artist known for her serigraph prints, died on August 28, 2026, at age 89.
Born Eleanor Grace Sievert in Los Angeles, she later became associated with Lexington, Kentucky, where she produced work focused in part on historic buildings in the state. Perreiah studied art at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles, where Corita Kent was among her teachers, and later pursued graduate study at Indiana University Bloomington and at the International Arts Studio in Florence.
She also studied architecture history, historic preservation and interior design at the University of Kentucky. In 1967, she moved to Lexington and became a founding member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. Working with fine press printers in central Kentucky, including Robert James Foose at Buttonwood Press and Arthur Graham at Polyglot Press, she created hand-printed serigraphs for limited-edition works such as Eight Fables of Aesop.
