Gianclaudio Bressa, an Italian politician who served as mayor of Belluno from 1990 to 1993, deputy from 1996 to 2018, and senator from 2018 to 2022, died on May 18, 2026.
Born in Belluno on January 16, 1956, he also served several times as undersecretary of state in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He was mayor of Belluno from December 22, 1990, to June 7, 1993, and held parliamentary offices during five legislatures in the Chamber of Deputies.
