
Brahim Bahrir, a French convicted terrorist, died on February 13, 2026, at the age of 47.
Born in Mantes-la-Jolie in 1978, he was convicted of terrorist-related offences. In the early 2000s, he regularly travelled to Belgium and became close to the organisation Sharia4Belgium.
In 2006, he regularly communicated with the Belgian terrorists Malika El Aroud and Mohammed Merah. A year later, he aimed to wage jihad in Somalia.
