Andy Fish, an American graphic novelist and educator, died on September 5, 2026, aged 60, following blood cancer.
Born Andrew Tiberius Fish, he worked as a comic book artist, illustrator, painter and novelist, and was known for his graphic novels and instructional books on drawing in particular styles. Fish studied comic art and illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he learned under Will Eisner, and later completed postgraduate study in illustration and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design.
He also taught at Emerson College.
