Alexander Ryazanov, a Russian air defense designer, died on January 18, 2026, at the age of 93.
He designed the S-25, S-75, S-200, and S-300 air defense systems. Ryazanov was born on September 6, 1932, in Aleksandrovshchina, Lodeynopolsky District, Leningrad Oblast, in the Russian SFSR, USSR.
He received the USSR State Prize and the Order of the Badge of Honour.
