Adam Sandurski Polish heavyweight freestyle wrestler dead at age 72

Adam Sandurski, a Polish heavyweight freestyle wrestler, died on February 21, 2026, at the age of 73.

He competed at the 1980 and 1988 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in 1980. Between 1979 and 1986, Sandurski won three silver and six bronze medals at the world and European championships.

He was born on February 8, 1953, in Zarzecze, Poland, and died in Witten, Germany.

Adam Sandurski (8 February 1953 – 21 February 2026) was a Polish heavyweight freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 1980 and 1988 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in 1980.
