Zeudi Araya, the Eritrean actress and film producer known for Mr.
Robinson, Hearts and Armour and The Sinner, died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on February 10, 1951, in Dekemhare, she won the Miss Eritrea contest in 1969 before moving into modeling and then film work.
Araya appeared in the 1970s in La ragazza dalla pelle di luna after being noticed in a coffee commercial, later added singing to her career, and went on to major roles in Hearts and Armour and other films before turning increasingly to production. She was also a singer and held Eritrean and Italian nationality.
