Zenonas Juknevičius, a Lithuanian politician and lawyer, died on May 12, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born on June 10, 1949, in Valdeikiai, Pasvalys district, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University in 1977 and qualified as a lawyer. He later served as People’s Judge of the Šilutė District People’s Court, Senior Notary of the Kupiškis State Notary Office, Investigator of the Kupiškis District Prosecutor’s Office, and First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania.
Juknevičius was also one of the signers of the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania and established his own law firm after becoming a lawyer in 1995.
