Yoshihiro Nishimura, a Japanese film director, screenwriter and special effects artist, died on May 25, 2026.
He was 59. Born on April 1, 1967, in Taitō-ku, Nishimura worked predominantly in the horror genre and began his career in 1995.
He was known for films including Helldriver, Mutant Girls Squad and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl, and was also credited with work on The Machine Girl, The ABCs of Death and Extremity. Nishimura studied at Aoyama Gakuin University.
