
Yevgeniy Duleyev, a Russian rower and Olympic silver medallist, died on May 1, 2026, at the age of 70.
Born in Moscow on April 5, 1956, he competed for the Soviet Union at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1980 Summer Olympics. In 1976, he was a crew member of the Soviet boat that won the silver medal in the quadruple sculls event.
Four years later, he and Aleksandr Fomchenko finished fifth in the double sculls competition.
