William V.
Tamborlane, an American pediatrician and academic, died on May 12, 2026. He was Professor and Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Yale School of Medicine from 1986.
Born in The Bronx, New York City, he grew up in Haworth, New Jersey, and later raised his three children in Madison, Connecticut, with his wife.
