Born in San Salvador on April 13, 1971, he was a retired player who also worked as a coach. He came through at Coca-Cola and made his debut for the club in 1987, when it was competing in El Salvador’s second division.

Osorio began his top-level career with FAS, making his first appearance in August 1990 against Fuerte San Francisco. His playing career at FAS unfolded in two spells, with a period at Luis Ángel Firpo in between; he also won the league title with Firpo in 1998. Osorio won six league titles with FAS across those periods and served as the club’s captain for many years. His later work at CD FAS was as an assistant coach, alongside technical director William Renderos, extending his connection with the club beyond his years as a player.
