Valentin Alexandrovich Gneushev, a Russian circus director and choreographer, died on March 11, 2026.
Born in Nizhny Tagil in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, he studied to be a clown at the Moscow State Circus School and later graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts as an artistic director. His first circus act, the aerial group performance “Cranes” in 1985, was an immediate success and toured in many countries, receiving various awards.
