
Teet Veispak, an Estonian historian and academic, died on May 20, 2026, at the age of 70.
Born on September 25, 1955, he graduated from Tartu State University’s Faculty of History in 1979. He worked as a researcher and director of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Estonian SSR, as a researcher, exhibition organizer and research director at the Rakvere Museum, and as curator of exhibitions at the Kalame Farm Museum of Virumaa Museums.
