Stevan Ostojić, a Serbian professional footballer who played as a striker, died on May 15, 2022.
Born on August 20, 1941, in Ostojićevo, he was raised in Subotica after his family moved there during the war. Ostojić began playing football in the mid-1950s, introduced to the game by his older brother Ivan, who took him to a training session with OFK Subotica.
He earned two caps for Yugoslavia, making his international debut in a friendly against Bulgaria in April 1964 and appearing again more than seven years later in a match against Mexico.
