Stevan Ostojić, the Serbian professional footballer who played as a striker, died on May 15, 2022, aged 80.
Born on August 20, 1941, in Ostojićevo, he grew up in Subotica after his family moved there during the war. Ostojić began playing football in the mid-1950s, when his older brother Ivan took him to a training session with OFK Subotica.
At international level, he earned two caps for Yugoslavia, making his debut in a friendly against Bulgaria in April 1964 and his second appearance more than seven years later against Mexico.
