Richard Meier, an English poet, died on December 17, 2025, of lung cancer in East Finchley, London, at the age of 55.
Born in Great Bookham, Surrey, in 1970, he won the 2010 Picador Poetry Prize. He authored two poetry collections, and his poems appeared in Oxford Poets 2002: An Anthology and in Granta.
